Class format

  • Instructor-led First Aid, CPR, and AED training
  • Designed for community members and professionals
  • Current class date and location are confirmed after registration

Certification requirements

  • Active participation and successful skill completion are required
  • Students should advise JPS Training of accommodation needs in advance
  • Certification is valid for two years after successful completion

What you’ll learn

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR
  • Automated External Defibrillator use
  • First aid for medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies
  • Choking relief and breathing emergencies

What you’ll receive

  • Official American Red Cross Certificate of Completion, valid for two years

Before class

Know before you register.

  • No prior training or firearm ownership is required.
  • Students must be legally able to possess a firearm and present valid government photo identification.
  • Handguns and holsters are available for qualification; students may bring their own firearm.
  • No live ammunition is permitted during classroom instruction.
  • Fingerprinting and government application fees are not included.
  • Training is non-refundable. One reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice.
