Course requirements

  • Successful completion of the full course is required
  • Valid government photo identification is required
  • State application and third-party fees are not included

Before class

Know before you register.

  • No prior training or firearm ownership is required.
  • Students must be legally able to possess a firearm and present valid government photo identification.
  • Handguns and holsters are available for qualification; students may bring their own firearm.
  • No live ammunition is permitted during classroom instruction.
  • Fingerprinting and government application fees are not included.
  • Training is non-refundable. One reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice.
